I think that it didn't work the first time and it won't work if you try it again. Your controlling, possessive, jealous nature would surface again and you would drive her away the same as you did before. Sometimes loving someone just isn't enough to make a relationship work. The relationship you had with her was not healthy and trying again would be a really bad move for both of you.
