Why do i feel like the only reason people are nice to me is so they can do me harm?

I am a quiet person and everytime I think I meat someone that honestly wants to know me, they end up trying to screw me over. Coworkers, females, even family members. Do people hate because its easy for me to stick to myself and find happiness and they have nuthn bu drama???
