How come Texas can produce Red Necks like Bush and Perry and the same time produce patriots like Ron Paul?

Rick Perry sends shivers down my spine, he is reminds me of the movie W; its like Americans are depserate to bring their country down bu voting for poodle politicians who are easily manupulated by the elites, makes you wonder who put them in their jobs in Texas.
